Aston Carter is hiring for a Payroll Specialist with one of our best clients in the Denver area! Searching for 4-7 years of high volume, full cycle payroll experience. Experience with UltiPro or UKG is highly preferred. Knowledge with Union (bi-weekly) payroll is strongly preferred. Description:

Under limited supervision, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of biweekly and semi-monthly union and nonunion payrolls, including input of wage and pay data of company employees, verifying accuracy of data and preparing payroll reports in a timely and efficient manner. This position serves as a contact for inquiries from employees and third-party vendors. Will also provide back up and support for other members of the payroll team.

Union Payroll:

• Going by the contract, need to make sure if there are missing hours it can be late into the next paycheck. Making sure pay to union rules.

• Familiar with reading and interpreting union contracts

• Full Cycle Payroll- not just data entry

• Union and Bi-Weekly- its corporate and union (2500-3000 employees)

• Use Ultipro- approve changes, adjustments etc.

• During week off- go through 401K funding, working with benefits for new hires, audit new hires, high volume of employee inbox and monitoring that (24-48 hours to turn around emails)

Qualifications:

• Experience with Ultipro and UKG

• Min 3 years of experience with full-cycle payroll

• High Volume experience- 2,000 employees or more

• Union bi-weekly experience is highly preferred
