We are always looking for new way to innovate in the construction world and leverage technology to save our clients money, as well as understand their properties current and future needs. As a Pavement Consultant at National Pavement Partners you will play a vital role in driving our sales efforts by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting our paving and asphalt services. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will learn and develop your sales skills while contributing to the success of our company.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation: - Research and identify potential clients in the commercial and residential sectors. - Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and networking events. - Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities. Client Engagement: - Conduct initial client meetings and needs assessments including identifying and building project scopes. - Present our asphalt and paving services in a compelling manner. - Address client inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly. Proposal Development: - Prepare and present accurate and competitive proposals to potential clients. - Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure proposals meet client requirements. Relationship Management: - Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients. - Ensure client satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns throughout projects. Sales Reporting: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions. - Provide regular reports to the sales manager on progress and performance. Market Research: - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. - Use market insights to identify new opportunities for growth.

Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for sales and customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of asphalt and paving services (training provided).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
