Facebook Manager, Risk Data Solutions in Denver, Colorado

Summary:

The mission of the Facebook Risk and Payments team is to serve our global community by providing payment support and protecting individuals and businesses against financial abuse. Within the Risk and Payments team, Risk Enforcement is responsible for overseeing day-to-day fraud management for Facebook's suite of payments products. We define performance metrics, build monitoring and alerting systems, analyze new fraud trends, scale operational workflows, and build and manage rules to detect and prevent abuse.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead a team of data analysts, providing both technical and subject matter expertise

  2. Provide expertise in career planning, performance management, and coaching

  3. Work with the Risk Leadership team to determine the team's project roadmap and priorities while holding accountable to milestones and delivery deadlines

  4. Apply a data-driven approach to identify, understand, and scope emerging fraud trends on the Facebook platform

  5. Oversee data and metric governance for fraud, system, and operations performance

  6. Become an expert in Facebook’s payments and risk infrastructure, products, tools, systems, and data

  7. Facilitate data conversations with Data Science, Product, Engineering and Operations teams to align on shared goals and responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years experience operating in a data-driven environment

  2. 2+ years experience managing people

  3. Experience defining, utilizing and communicating performance metrics

  4. Experience with relationship management and working within a global organization

  5. Experience manipulating large data sets in SQL or equivalent, and drawing actionable insights from data

  6. Experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl), statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS), or data visualization tool (Tableau)
