The role you’ll contribute:
Develop, implement, and oversee clinical pharmacy services. Coordinate the maintenance of a cost-effective formulary by drug evaluation, overseeing the buyers at each hospital, and staff and physician education. Work with other clinical managers and coordinators to assure quality pharmacy services. Coordinate the pharmacy intern / extern / doctorate student program. Has 24 hour on-call responsibility and assists with budget preparation and monitoring.

Teaches problem-solving skills to professional departmental staff through modeling, instruction, and the establishment of clear expectations in conjunction with the pharmacy director/manager.
Responsible for performance management of assigned professional pharmacy staff.
Provides on going performance evaluations for all clinical pharmacists and buyer (where assigned).

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
Doctorate Degree
PharmD
Three years as a clinical pharmacist Understanding of the components of a clinical service Experience in formulary management (i.e., P&T, MUE, and ADR reporting programs) Teaching experience such as that obtained during a Pharm.D., residency program, BCPS or other advanced pharmacy certification. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams; management and communication skills Education or experience in utilizing continuous quality improvement methods, employee relations, team coaching, and self-directed work teams.
Pharmacist Registered in Colorado
Preferred Experience:
- Previous Oncology Experience
