Job Purpose and Overview Monday - Friday, 6pm - 3am with occasional weekends.

Dawn Denver is an 11-line food manufacturing facility that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As a working Maintenance Supervisor, ensure that the plant equipment is always operational and in safe working condition, to prevent production down time. Coordinate these efforts with both inside maintenance and outside contractors. This position is also responsible for the lab and office equipment and for the building structure, parking lots and outside grounds.

What Does It Take to be a Maintenance Supervisor at Dawn Foods? Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required. Two years' experience in manufacturing required; food experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of computers and use of Microsoft Office suite. SAP experience preferred. Experience with capital projects preferred. Experience with automation required; ability to use Preventative Maintenance programs such as COGS, SOMAX or similar. Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Attention to detail and accuracy. Must have the ability to resolve issues in a timely, organized and cost-efficient manner. Experience leading, directing and developing team members. Proactive, self-directed independent worker, with self confidence What You'll Do as a Maintenance Supervisor? Directs, coordinates, and facilitates activities of maintenance technicians engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment, to include the maintenance of buildings, grounds and elect Manage pro-active maintenance to include all equipment and machinery in the plant. Keep equipment and machinery in safe working condition. Work safely and maintain a safe work environment following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)and food safety practices. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs. Work with workforce on continuous improvement to plant equipment and practices in cost, quality, service, and safety. Identify and execute opportunities to improve plant equipment. Facilitate a safe work environment through auditing and inspecting areas for safety hazards and observing team member safe work habits. Corrects all OSHA violations and potential hazards in a timely manner. Manage the development of the maintenance staff. Orders parts, creates requisitions, and transfers requisitions into purchase orders. Manage maintenance and repair spending within budget levels, to include capital projects. Exposure to and experience with GMP, International Food Standard (IFS), American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards, understand Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs, OSHA standards and plant safety programs.

Team members must also be able to lift 50lbs. Position requires constant and continuous support of production and other departments. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Temperature fluctuates with the season - colder during the winter/warmer during the summer. Working around heavy machinery - hearing protection required in production area.
