From securing our campuses to making sure our events go off without a hitch, Facilities is the human face of our company’s well-oiled onsite operation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH is seeking a Buldings Technician to join our team who will provide facilities-related support for various events such as meetings, off-site events, and other departmental requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily site inspections of the facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and condition
Perform preventive maintenance to building systems and equipment as assigned
Equipment check sheets as requested
Provide a report to the Facilities manager notifying any problems found
Perform basic electrical repairs, such as replacing lamps, ballasts, switches, receptacles, cord caps
Provide support to engineering projects and installations
Assist in office furniture reconfigurations, furniture moves, and office moves as requested
Ability to potentially work various hours outside of weekly schedule to respond to after-hours emergency requests

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
3-5 years of related experience with general maintenance procedures such as basic building and grounds preventative maintenance
Must have a current and valid drivers license
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic but proven experience with a variety of trades in the maintenance of commercial office space such as the operation of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment supporting a 24/7 operation
Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operations
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment with limited resources
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and obtain a driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with dock locks, overhead garage doors, dock levelers
Experience with operating a forklift
CDL endorsement
Experience with preventative maintenance routines
Experience with CCTV/building security
General experience with Google Suite/basic computer skills
Working Conditions:
Will be able to sit, stand, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Will be able to work in all-weather environments, indoors, and outdoors
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $25.00/Hour - $34.50/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
