KPMG is

currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Tax Technology

Practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development teams, delegate tasks and provide technical management oversight on projects

  • Manage various software development projects for a key product line and practice standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Test-Driven Development (TDD)

  • Design software architecture based on Microsoft Azure & .NET technologies

  • Practice standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM and TDD

  • Create database schema, develop stored procedures, work with JSON and JSONB datatypes.

  • Guide development teams in unit testing process, test and troubleshoot applications built on Microsoft Azure, Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, TypeScript and modern SQL and NO SQL databases

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent progressive experience developing software using Microsoft Azure, Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, TypeScript and modern SQL and NO SQL databases with at least two years' experience leading development teams and providing technical management oversight on projects

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred

  • Experience leading development teams and providing technical management oversight on projects

  • Prior software architecture experience based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft .NET technologies

  • Solid experience testing and troubleshooting applications built on Microsoft Azure, Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, TypeScript and modern SQL and NO SQL databases

  • Previous experience creating technical documents for software products using Visio, UML, and PowerPoint
