IT Windows Deployment Technician - TRAVELING ROLE

• Candidate will need to Travel throughout the United State during this long term engagement, mostly supporting the Western part of the country.

Skills:

Deployment experience of Windows 10 or Windows 11; Troubleshooting, Desktop, Windows, windows 11, Imaging exp

TRAVEL:

Need to be able to travel weekly to sites for 12 - 15 months (will be deploying Windows 11 at over 80 sites across the United States).

Description:

• Provide Service Desk IT coverage during business hours to cover shifts due to field upgrades and vacations

• Assist with the imaging and profiling of Windows 11 desktops and laptops

• Must be willing to travel regularly via car and airfare to assist with field upgrades; Customer has over 80 sites that must be visited over the next 15 months

• Position could require weekly travel to locations across the US.

• When providing Service Desk coverage ability to work with ticketing systems and knowledge base articles

Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and related components.

• Prior experience on IT Service or Help Desk

• Prior experience traveling to support IT hardware upgrades is preferred

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to escalate issues and follow issues to resolution

• Prior experiencing imaging and profiling desktops is preferred

• Prior experience with Office 365 and Windows 10/11 is required

• 3+ years (or 7+ years without a degree) of experience with duties listed above.

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; ability to communicate technical directions, both in person and over the phone

• Excellent customer service skills; ability to work successfully with a variety of personalities and various management levels.

• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Highly self-motivated and self-directed
