At ProTeX, our growth expanding in Denver requires a solid leader that wants to be the first to come and direct our company in the Denver Metro area. We are primarily in PHX but have a small crew in Denver and are now in the stable position to grow that division and we need an Engineer who wants to play a significant role in taking our firm to the next level and running the show in Denver. You'd literally be leading the work in Denver and being the first pioneer to expand our business there- the ultimate definition of "growing with the company". ProTeX is a laid back, family friendly company where your knowledge and expertise will be respected and valued. We are seeking a geotechnical engineer (P.E.) with at least 1-2 years of experience as a licensed Professional Engineer.
Salary $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience level and qualifications. Full benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k with a 50% match, Work Truck
Performing geotechnical studies, analysis, and design.
Preparing/reviewing a variety of geotechnical reports, studies, and evaluations.
Reviewing construction observation and testing data and preparing reports.
Analysis and design of mechanically stabilized earth retaining structures.
Slope stability analysis.
Analysis and design of ground anchors and soil nails.
General knowledge of concrete, asphalt, and aggregate materials testing.
Preform field sampling and testing utilizing drill rig, seismic refraction, double ring infiltrometer. etc.
Performs a variety of skilled professional engineering work in the office and/or field.
Applies broad/basic knowledge of principles of civil and geotechnical engineering to observe construction work, observe and document existing conditions, scope work, prepare proposals, perform site studies, identify soil and bedrock, establish laboratory testing programs, evaluate and characterize site conditions, perform engineering analysis and prepare reports. Requires application of standard engineering techniques and procedures, including professional judgment to execute work, develop solutions, and make design modifications.
Assigns tasks to and directs staff level engineers/geologists, technicians, and administrative staff.
B.S. degree in civil/geotechnical engineering.
Possess 1+ years’ experience AS A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER.
State of Colorado Professional Engineering License
Possesses effective oral and written communication skills.
