We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Geologist in our US Onshore Resources & Carbon Management (ORCM), Rockies Business Unit based in Denver, Colorado.

Interpret subsurface data to develop stratigraphic and structural model. Analyze geological and engineering data to optimize field development plans. Undertake comprehensive data analysis for reserve bookings and subsurface characterization including machine learning and statistical methods such as clustering and regression analysis. Evaluate technical, practical, and commercial variables to support field development plan. Create dashboards and visualizations for collaborating with stakeholders and making technical recommendations. Develop and maintain data pipelines for processing well inventory detail and metrics. Integrate various reservoir studies including, reservoir modelling, geochemistry, PVT, petrophysics, production performance, pressure transient tests, and other data in planning future development. Recommend special data requirements and evaluation techniques. Work with various functions in developing a set of reservoir assumptions and models aligned to business needs at appropriate scale. Create design of experiments for production enhancements, infill opportunities, and appraisal zones Perform integrated reservoir evaluation from characterization through modeling and simulation for the life-cycle of asset focusing on multi-scale reservoir elements and integration with dynamic reservoir performance.

Qualifications Minimum of 5-years' experience in Development/Operations Geology and/or Petroleum Exploration High level of dependability, dedication, initiative, energy, creativity, interpersonal skills, adaptability, and an ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team. Significant data analytics experience including SQL, Python, Spotfire/Power BI Solid understanding of geological and reservoir engineering fundamentals inclusive of subsurface geological mapping Skilled at working multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in a multi-discipline team environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal & written) Ability to efficiently learn and adapt new skills and workflows in a fast-paced environment. Able to work in a diverse team environment. Critical thinker and self-starter with a positive attitude Petrel experience preferred. Education: M.S. Degree in Geology with relevant experience. Salary Range Discretionary Bonus $136,800 - $188,100 0-50%
