We are looking for a fluids design engineer designing the fluid systems for Lunar spacecraft. Work will include the complete life cycle of the system from definition, interfaces, conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly, verification, and operation. You will own your components from initial design to analyzing data from their landing on the moon

You will understand and contribute to flight piping and instrumentation diagrams and schematics. You will design and perform 1st order analyses to verify your designs. You will work with suppliers or Blue Origin groups to identify and procure components. You will contribute to Lunar vehicle design in CAD by modeling valves, propulsion elements, sensors, piping, and other equipment in the flight vehicle. You will size, select material, and analyze piping and supporting structure for structural integrity due to pressure, vibration, fracture, fatigue, etc. You will manage suppliers and other support to procure, fabricate, and install flight hardware. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Permanence system that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.
