Summary Support of annual budget process and monthly financial statement reporting process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Financial Reporting Accountant I: Responsible for preparation of financial statements for all branches/departments of Sturm Financial Group. Responsible for preparation and formulation of budget data for the company's annual budgeting process. Works closely with accounting operations personnel to ensure accuracy of financial reporting systems and data. Assists with General Ledger Integration to facilitate reporting needs. Assists with external audit processes as needed. Other duties as assigned. Financial Reporting Accountant II: Researches accounting rules and regulations as required to facilitate reporting. Assists supervisor in providing analytical guidance in identifying and solving problems with financial report users. Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with GAAP and regulatory guidelines. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses to support regional management decision making. Assists with preparation of the annual budget. Assists with monthly forecasting process. Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience 1 - 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Preferred bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in banking.
