Accenture Federal - Senior Software Developer (MQ SME) in Denver, Colorado

The work:

The Software Developer (MQ SME) will be responsible for Internal Service Bus and Enterprise Service Bus application development, web services, implementing MQ best practices, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), DevOps, and Test automation. The MQ SME should have hands-on working knowledge of MQ, SQL Server, and GitLab/Mattermost. The Software Developer shall possess experience with engaging diverse stakeholder groups and collaborating with system users to coordinate and document Interface Control Documents.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Here is what you need:

  • 10+ years of experience on complex technical projects, including work on highly available, national security systems.

  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: Internal Service Bus and Enterprise Service Bus application development, Web Services, MQ best practices

  • Hands-on, working knowledge of the following products: SQL Server

  • Experience with Enterprise MQ Administration, preferably IBM MQ

  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, professional documentation.

Bonus points if you have:

  • 5 years’ experience on complex technical projects, including work on highly available, national security systems.

  • Experience in the following areas: Case management workflow, Data analysis, Analysis of trends and patterns, query development and reporting

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and  information on benefits offered is here. Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $122,600 - $198,800

Colorado: $122,600 - $171,700

New York City: $141,800 - 198,800

Washington: $130,500 - $182,800
