Meta Engineering Manager, Enterprise in Denver, Colorado

Enterprise Engineering is at the heart of Facebook's mission. By transforming the way businesses function, we are helping to bring billions of people around the world closer together. Enterprise Engineers build industry leading, highly intuitive software that underpin business functions across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing, E-commerce and Security. Our products consistently influence the enterprise software industry by defining new standards for how our customers, internally and externally, relate to their daily work.

We are currently looking for an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking Engineering Manager with a strong ability to design and execute products that power the enterprise. As a member of Enterprise Engineering, you will play a key role in reimagining productivity by shipping transformative products that serve diverse aspects of the enterprise.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead a team of engineers and product managers in the ideation and technical development of innovative enterprise software to streamline and automate critical business processes.

  2. Provide strategic and operational oversight for Enterprise software product development.

  3. Work closely with business leaders to develop short and long-term strategies.

  4. Manage business expectations, resolve conflicts, and keep businesses aligned.

  5. Develop and drive execution on 6 month and 1 year road maps.

  6. Drive innovation, establish new approaches in improving productivity.

  7. Establish a metrics based organization, develop key operational metrics and push for continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience in building Enterprise software

  2. Experience with programming languages such as Java, PHP, Python, or C++

  3. Experience with agile systems development methodologies

  4. Experience managing engineering teams including hiring/termination and performance management

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors in Computer Science or related field

  2. Experience developing Financial Application products (i.e. Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Revenue Management, Collections, Customer Relationship Management, E-commerce)

  3. Experience in understanding business logic

  4. Organizational and analytical skills
