Meta Developer Community Lead, Business Messaging in Denver, Colorado
Business Messaging's mission is to make messaging the primary way people and businesses communicate. Developers are a vital part of this group's success, as companies seek to customize the products of WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger for their own business needs. We want to cultivate a community where developers can build trusted relationships amongst each other, get expert recommendations for services and products, share best practices, and get burning questions answered. To achieve this, we are looking for a community leader to focus on growing and engaging the developer community. This person would set the vision for what an impactful developer community would look like, outline the strategy for achieving that vision for cross-functional support, and fully own the resultant workstreams and metrics. Developer Community Lead, Business Messaging Responsibilities:
Clearly and consistently articulate the needs and nuances of differing third-party developer community platforms to executive audiences.
Define and deliver the developer community strategy, roadmap, and success metrics.
Create programs to moderate, listen to and engage regularly with off-platform developer community members, providing them with any support and resources they need.
Partner with Developer Advocacy, Content, Product, Support, and Developer Community Forum teams to develop a horizontal developer community strategy.
Create and manage feedback processes from the community and bring those insights to the appropriate internal teams.
Measure, analyze, update and track community data, providing timely, regular reporting throughout the company.
Lead a multivendor support configuration dedicated to off-platform developer community support.
Own the development of developer community marketing and operational content.
5+ years experience with developer community platforms and tools.
5+ years experience in cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Documentation, Support, and/or Product.
5+ years experience in community or developer program management.
Experience managing budgets and multiple agencies.
Experience creating effective, culturally relevant work for developer community audiences.
International business experience.
MBA or advanced degree.
