Primary Responsibilities In the role of Design Technician, we'll count on you to: With occasional assistance from project engineers and managers, produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering and utility designs using computer-aided drafting software Work productively in a team environment Perform Field Liaison Duties with up to 20% field duties Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of civil related drafting experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience Highly proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D Civil 3D use of alignments, profiles, surfaces, assemblies, corridors, and earthwork quantity calculations Understanding of Survey Coordinate Systems Experience with ArcGIS Knowledge of Microsoft Office software Experience with applying drafting standards and established company procedures Able to work in a team environment Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Self-motivated and willing to learn Understanding of MicroStation and Open Road Designer A strong knowledge of plan preparation Capable of preparing plans and profiles, grading, drainage, and site improvement designs Associate Degree or vocational school training in drafting AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 or 2020 Experience with and use of ArcGIS #LI-LA1

Required Qualifications
