Robert Half Contracts Attorney - Pharmaceutical Industry in Denver, Colorado

Description

Robert Half is currently looking for an experienced contract attorney with a background in the pharmaceutical industry to fill a temporary position in the Denver Metro area with one of our clients. The successful candidate will assist with the drafting, negotiating, and reviewing of contracts related to the pharmaceutical industry. These contracts may include but are not limited to research agreements, supply agreements, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to apply their skills within a dynamic and rewarding environment. Must reside in the Denver Metro.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, examining, analyzing, and revising various types of contracts such as research agreements, supply agreements, licensing agreements, and confidentiality agreements relevant to the pharmaceutical sector.

  • Offering legal guidance and support during contract negotiations.

  • Advising on legal risks and offering preemptive legal solutions associated with different business strategies.

  • Ensuring all contracts entered into comply with federal and state laws and regulations.

  • Collaborating closely with different departments to ensure contracts align with company policies and business goals.

  • Conducting legal research and offering advice on legal matters pertaining to the contracts, transactions, and regulatory compliance.

  • Providing education to company staff on contract standards and legal responsibilities.

  • Managing multiple cases/matters/projects efficiently and effectively, adopting a detail-oriented approach to maintain order and organization.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school and must be admitted to and in good standing with a State Bar.

  • Minimum of 3 years post-bar legal experience, with a predominant exposure to contract law in the pharmaceutical sector.

  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, its business models, and the associated legal and environmental challenges.

  • Demonstrated capacity to provide practical, timely, and business-focused legal counsel.

  • Excellent strategic, negotiation, and drafting skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships at all organizational levels and with external partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a significant volume of transactions independently.

  • Willingness to adapt quickly to changing organizational and role needs.

  • Must be located in the Denver Metro area.

  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.

  • Excellent judgment and ability to manage sensitive and nuanced situations.
