Cornerstone onDemand Associate Account Manager in Denver, Colorado
The Associate Account Manager (AAM) is an inside sales role responsible for strategically prospecting and selling directly to existing clients in defined account books of business. This role is responsible for the entire sales cycle on specific technical projects, while also focusing on business development for larger, more strategic upsell & cross-sell opportunities. In coordination with Account Managers, the Associate Account Manager is part of a Team that ensures high levels of client satisfaction and leverages their understanding of our client’s business needs to ensure they are receiving the most value from our technology - identifying new areas and applications for our technology and services.

In this role you will…
Achieve MBOs (Managed Business Objectives) through business development and sales to existing customers.
Execute on strategies to expand the use of CSOD software solutions for learning, performance, talent management, talent acquisition and content within the customers’ business or subsidiaries.
Tactically support account planning, perform targeted direct prospecting, drive timely lead follow up, and leverage networking, research & partner relationships to achieve quarterly goals.
Manage a virtual sales process for specific technical projects through qualification, needs analysis, and close.
Work closely with internal Marketing resources to drive programs, campaigns, events, promotions, and partnering.
Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Cornerstone’s products and services.
Meet with clients to identify their requirements, research competitive strengths & weaknesses, and coordinate demonstrations.
Develop and maintain an understanding of industry verticals, marketplace, competitive offerings and other issues relevant to strategic business impacts.
Use effective time and territory management to maximize skills.
Document daily sales activities in Salesforce.com, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities, wins and results to business development and sales partners.
Be an active team player on the sales team, with business partners and throughout Cornerstone OnDemand to help meet company objectives.
Operate under minimal supervision with regular reviews of work.
Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
BA/BS or equivalent experience.
Up to 3 years of successful B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on acquiring new customers or account management.
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Experience in relationship development and opportunity identification.
Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas.
Tangible experience with consultative or solution-based sales methodologies.
A Self-starter mindset who takes initiative and a history of creative problem solving.
The ability to quickly synthesize and put to use new information.
A strong business acumen - excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customization, persuasion & influence.
PC and internet skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Salesforce, sales automation tools and web presentation applications (Webex, Zoom, etc.)
A strong plus is Sales experience with Human Resources/Talent Management applications and/or SaaS solutions.
Ability to pass a background check.
