The Logistics Dispatcher Assistant is a highly valued team member who provides support for the Transportation team, particularly in the areas of data entry and coordination. The Logistics Dispatcher Assistant is highly organized and eager to help out the team in any way possible, has strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of confidentiality needs in a competitive market.

TOTAL COMPENSATION

$19.71 to $26.15 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all Transportation-related paperwork, from completion to filing.

  • Enter data into all applicable portals and systems.

  • Receives, prepares, uploads, and updates work orders in transportation systems and relays work orders, messages and information from project crews to drivers.

  • Supports and Assists the Project Management Department and Accounting with cost tracking.

  • Keep Logistics systems and portals up-to-date with trucking information.

  • Coordinate and enter leaser ticket processing and paperwork.

  • Provide back-up for Dispatcher and facilitate communication needs of company for Transportation Team.

  • Support Dispatcher, Transportation Manager, Operations Director and team as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

  • Knowledge of trucking, construction, and/or heavy equipment preferred, but not required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time, including uneven terrain on work sites when needed. Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally for filing and storage. Ability to maneuver paperwork and read a computer screen for extended durations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Primarily office-based, with varying temperatures and extended screen time.
