Required Skills:

Application Engineer Responsibilities:

  1. Build integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise software applications

  2. Reimage productivity by developing transformative software applications and products to serve diverse aspects of Meta's enterprise

  3. Work closely with product managers to drive strategic and tactical initiatives

  4. Work with other engineers to analyze several management policies to ensure data integrity and system stability

  5. Drive strategic and tactical initiatives and to architect highly available, scalable, and secure systems

  6. Build software features and oversee their end-to-end entirety, in addition to ensuring data integrity and system stability

  7. Partner up with designers to implement pixel-perfect designs to improve our Ul/UX software applications and systems

  8. Maintain, tune, and support software production quality

  9. Build interfaces for complex web applications and software quality tools and applications

  10. Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted (remote work benefit)

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 24 months of experience in the following:

  2. Developing custom applications using back-end development using programming languages such as Apex and Java

  3. Developing customer user interfaces using front-end development using front-end programming languages such as Visualforce and HTML

  4. Integrating enterprise application following Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), using Extensible Markup Language (XML) and web services

  5. Designing back-end database using data modeling tools and techniques

  6. Implementing CRM modules like Marketing, Sales, and Services

  7. Working on projects following Agile methodology
