Eide Bailly LLP Administrative Assistant - Tax Controversy & Procedure in Denver, Colorado
Location: Open to any Eide Bailly office location in the United States Work Arrangement: Hybrid or in-office Typical Day in the Life A typical day as an Administrative Assistant on the Tax Controversy and Procedure team might include the following: Answer phones in a professional manner and directs callers to appropriate personnel or department. Greet visiting clients and direct them to the correct person. Coordinate staff meetings, conference calls and webcasts. Work with spreadsheets and track data in a database. Assist partners, managers and staff with all office activities. Compose, organize and type routine correspondence and IRS filings including orders, memos, letters and reports. Qualify prospects for our various services. Set appointments or transfer prospective clients to Partner, Manager, or Senior Associate. Assist with streamlining processes and procedures. Maintain and update lists involving upcoming due dates. Pick up additional administrative responsibilities when needed. Provide marketing support for the Tax Controversy team. Training for specific tasks will include: Client time and billing Filing protests and responses to taxing authorities Evaluation and sorting of incoming tax notices and correspondence Who You Are You have a high school diploma and 2 years of past administrative support experience. You are knowledgeable of tax, accounting and/or tax resolution (preferred). You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). You thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment. You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet. You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality. You have strong written and verbal communication skills. You love collaborating and being part of a team but also enjoy working alone with limited supervision. You have exceptional phone etiquette and sales skills. You possess excellent interpersonal and client service skills. You have strong organizational/follow-up skills. Compensation: $19.00-$35.00/hour Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
