System One is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist II to oversee accounting operations within our client’s Electrical Distribution Operations organization.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate work order transfers to allocate expenses correctly.

• Collaborate with teams to gather information and reconcile data.

• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and internal policies.

• Support financial reporting and analysis with accurate data.

• Prioritize tasks based on deadlines and organizational priorities.

• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

• Gather, analyze, submit, and monitor journal entries and reclasses.

• Manage end-to-end accounting processes for Distribution Operations.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, particularly in distinguishing between Capital and Operations & Maintenance work.

  Requirements:

• 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably with data entry and analytics.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s.

• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
