Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Technical Warranty Analyst. This role will be responsible for managing technical reviews of warranty claims, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting continuous product improvements by interfacing with various departments.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Review, assist, and provide feedback for service documentation.

  • Communicate PACCAR vehicle product changes from Field Service and Engineering to the warranty department.

  • Review claim information from dealers and process warranty claims according to established guidelines.

  • Stay current on Field Service and Plant activities.

  • Serve as a technical warranty Subject Matter Expert (SME) and perform additional technical and administrative duties as assigned.

  • Identify, prioritize, analyze, and resolve customer, dealer, and field service organization problems related to technical warranty issues, prioritizing customer satisfaction.

  • Interface professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical warranty claims and issues.

  • Audit warranty trends to identify process improvements.

Skills/ Requirements

  • Must be proficient in the following related services

  • Cab Systems (mechanical and electrical)

  • Chassis systems (mechanical and electrical)

  • Engine electronic diagnostic experience

  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, specifications, and engineering data

  • Ability to troubleshoot engine related problems along with the interface to truck electrical systems and powertrain components

  • 3-5 years’ technical experience required

  • 5-7 years’ experience in at least one of the following areas required

  • Service Technician / Service Manager

  • Project Manager

  • Service Engineer

Education

Bachelor’s Degree Required (Technical, Engineering, Automotive degrees strongly preferred)
