If you are looking for a place to work where you can establish a career that is filled with purpose, this is the job for you!Administrative Asst II Reimbursement Officer I Performs advanced technical work in pursuit of reimbursement for services provided to individuals at HHSC State Supported Living Center facilities. As delegated by the Reimbursement Manager, work involves obtaining financial information, establishing and maintaining accounts receivable in automated data system and processing claims against third party sources; and frequent contact with the public in person, correspondence, and by telephone. Also performs clerical work in areas such as bookkeeping, statistics, and may perform diagnostic coding. Abides by all Denton SSLC policies and procedures as well as maintains an effective, harmonious relationship with all staff, families, and residents. Works under the general supervision of and work is subject to review by the Reimbursement Manager. Essential Job FunctionsAttends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.Performs various activities necessary to collect Medicaid under the ICF-IDD program; calculates billing rates; maintains accounts in automated system; monitors and reports changes in individualsand#146; income, and resources; adjusts budgets; resolves problems related to Medicaid eligibility of individuals.
