All applicants must have 3 months experience hand harvesting a perishable crop. Applicants must be able to furnish affirmative job references from recent employers.
Workers will manually, prune, plant, cultivate and harvest trees, fruits and vegetables. Use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning shears, scissors and knives, workers will work from ladders and the ground. Duties may include tilling soil and fertilizer application; transplant, weeding, thinning or pruning crops; application of pesticides; cleaning, sorting, packing and loading harvest products. Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. Interested candidates must contact their local employment office to receive a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) and applicable attachments. Once the applicant has a copy of the job contract contact the employer for a phone interview between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday thru Friday and referred to 20859076 as the CO is in connection with this NJ number.
