Castle Management, LLC Housekeeper in Delray Beach, Florida

The Housekeeper maintains the luxurious appearance of the community and a safe environment for our residents. The Housekeeper is expected to ensure that all interior areas of the community are clean, sterile, organized and inviting. While setting high standards for cleanliness and beautification, the Housekeeper will maintain the look and impression the property gives from the interior.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary focus is cleaning all make ready apartments, leasing office and common areas

  • Prepare living areas to Castle Residential’s standards in a timely manner

  • Ability to take direct orders from Service Supervisor and complete assigned tasks

  • Take the initiative to train and develop using the exceptional resources provided

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when on the job

  • Deliver innovative and creative ideas to enhance the look and impression of the community

  • Responsible for cleaning offices, pool areas, laundry facility areas, and other common areas on the community

  • Inspect unoccupied apartments for damage or uncleanliness

  • Maintain and follow Castle Residential’s standards and procedures

  • Report damaged, unassigned work, or hazardous areas to Service Supervisor

  • Keep inventory on supplies need and report to Service Supervisor for replenishment of equipment or supplies needed to perform the role

  • Maintain company’s customer service standards

  • Any other duties assigned or directed

Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:

Required:
  • 0-2 years of housekeeping experience

    Preferred:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

  • Previous experience in housekeeping

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Have excellent customer service skill when talking to residents about service requests

  • Attend all required Castle Residential Company maintenance trainings

  • Ability to effectively work in a team setting and collaborate with administrative staff

  • Possess and practice exceptional safety skills while on the job

  • Be highly motivated and have a positive attitude

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, follow-up, and follow through

  • Awareness of working long hours outdoors and in the elements

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to work a schedule during normal work hours and that may be other than Monday- Friday, 8-5. Work in excess of 40 hours is likely

  • Consistent, regular and in person attendance during assigned hours at the workplace are required

Computer literacy:

N/A

Language requirements:

English is required. Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Travel and availability requirements:

May be required to travel to multiple locations in the state on an as needed basis.

Ability to work extended hours and weekends on as needed basis.

Physical Requirements:

The employee is required to accomplish physical labor in many different conditions including lifting equipment. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, squat, pull, push, climb, crouch, crawl, talk, hear and see. Must demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The essential duties of this position require moderate to heavy lifting. Heavy lifting is exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Working Conditions:

Work will be divided between indoor and outdoor work. The proportion of indoor to outdoor work will fluctuate. May be exposed to weather conditions such as heat, cold or rain while working outdoors.
