Product Content Analyst

Indiana Packers Corporation (IPC) is a fully integrated foodservice and private label producer of fresh and processed meats based in Delphi, Indiana (near Lafayette, Indiana). Since the start of operations in 1991, we have experienced rapid growth from a single pork processing company into a multi-plant diversified producer of fresh and processed meats, with locations throughout America's Heartland.

We are best known for our national brand Kentucky Legend (the best-selling quarter-sliced ham in the United States) as well as several well-known regional brands, including Indiana Kitchen, Fischer's, Field, Mickelberry's, Kentuckian Gold, and Scott Pete. We have additional processing facilities in Frankfort, Indiana; Holland, Michigan; and Owensboro, Kentucky.

Summary:

This role is responsible for product data management solutions that enable IPC and its affiliates to consolidate, manage and enrich product data and to distribute high-quality, consistent and personalized product information across retail and foodservice channels. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day activities for IPC's PIM (product information management system), GDSN data pools, and retailers' eCommerce retail channels. Ultimately, the ideal candidate for this role will be able to identify and suggest strategic opportunities for product content improvements based upon data analysis and readiness reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining product data quality, formatting, reviewing, and uploading product content and digital assets into the appropriate content systems
  • Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts throughout the organization who are key product information stakeholders to establish product information consistency
  • Syndicate and update product data and digital assets on product detail pages on customers' websites for existing and new items
  • Manage digital brand catalogs and ensure sales and customers have access to the information and images they need
  • Create and manage business rules, processes, workflows and product attribution within the product data systems to support standard work and quality improvements
  • Measuring and report on product data quality KPIs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Marketing, Business, etc.)
  • 3-5 years of experience working in product master data, eCommerce, or online merchandising/marketing for CPG or food & beverage company.
  • Experience working with content management/syndication platforms (Salsify, Syndigo) or experience manipulating product information in other master data systems (SAP, GS1, 1WS).
  • Familiarity with omni-channel environments and/or eCommerce retail channels.
  • Experience in grocery categories preferred.
