salary: $18 - 20 per hour

work hours: 11 to 7

responsibilities:

  • Identify and troubleshoot batch QC result abnormalities and take action as able

  • Test all production samples as required - following SOPs as defined, performing test methods accurately, and recording all test results

  • Support project and continuous improvement work as needed to help maintain project timelines

  • Understand customer requirements and determine adjustments for batches as needed

  • Collaborate with other QC teams, production, and technical groups to independently disposition batches

  • Maintain all laboratory equipment and perform required calibrations as assigned

  • Utilize immediate production and project needs to prioritize daily activities

  • Maintain lab ancillary inventory, daily material stocking needs, and contribute to 6S

  • Understand, support, and maintain Delaware's Quality Management System requirements

  • Support Departmental X matrix action items as assigned

  • Completion of development plans in entirety

  • Execution of RCA tasks as assigned

qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering preferred

  • 1 year of academic or professional laboratory experience and proven ability to accurately laboratory methods

  • Ability to work night shift (2nd or 3rd)

  • Ability to work weekends as dictated by business need

  • Ability to work additional overtime as determined by business and project needs
