Our client in the chemical industry is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician I, you will be part of the Quality Control team supporting production in Delaware, OH. The ideal candidate will be an agile learner, results-driven, and collaborative in their work within the QC team and across multiple functional groups.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician I

Location: Delaware, OH

Pay Range: $20 per hour

What's the Job?

• Identify and troubleshoot batch QC result abnormalities and take action as able

• Test all production samples as required – following SOPs as defined, performing test methods accurately, and recording all test results

• Support project and continuous improvement work as needed to help maintain project timelines

• Understand customer requirements and determine adjustments for batches as needed

• Collaborate with other QC teams, production, and technical groups to independently disposition batches

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering preferred

• 1 year of academic or professional laboratory experience and proven ability to accurately apply laboratory methods

• Ability to work night shift (2nd or 3rd)

• Ability to work weekends as dictated by business need
