job summary:

Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer for their Delano site. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the growth of the facilities through the development of separate elements of our electrical systems, ensuring they function cohesively within our cross-functional processes.

Open to candidates with a Bachelors Degree and 3 years related experience OR No degree and a minumum of 5 years of experience.

• PLC, HMI Programming

responsibilities:

• Design, test, and develop automated systems to meet business needs.

• Develop individual elements of electrical systems to support the continued growth of our facilities.

• Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs.

• Create diagrams, flowcharts, and models to illustrate the required infrastructure for various installations.

• Document each system or application aspect for future upgrades and maintenance.

• Develop supporting diagrams, flowcharts, and models to illustrate the desired outcomes.

• Design, test, and develop control systems that meet business objectives.

• Develop individual project elements that integrate well with our cross-functional processes.

• Refine the development process to address client or consumer concerns effectively.

• Verify and commission electrical control panels.

• Support electrical distribution systems that supply the packing houses.

• Promote and support electrical safety culture (Arc Flash - NFPA70E).

• Manage, support, and maintain site electrical One-Line drawings.

• Design, install, and support Motor Control Centers (MCCs).

• Act as the business champion for our power monitoring systems.
