Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Join Our Team as a Diesel Truck Technician!

Are you an experienced Diesel Truck Technician looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your skills and grow with us!

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks (28 to 56 feet)

• Work on Freightliner trucks and perform maintenance on engines, brakes, transmissions, etc.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and repair work

• Maintain Toyota forklifts and Crown pallet jacks

• Use diagnostic software and scanner tools

• Perform DOT inspections and document findings

• Repair trailers, including wiring brake lights, replacing brakes, changing tires, and repairing hydraulics

• Replace water pumps and AC systems

• Retrieve and log work orders via iPad

• Occasionally weld or use torches

Hard Skills Required:

• 5+ years of diesel experience

• Experience working on brakes (certifications required)

• Hydraulic and trailer maintenance experience

Position Type:

• Contract (6 months)

Location:

• Fully on-site in DeLand, Florida

Work Environment:

• Clean, organized, non-climate controlled, but fully covered and equipped with fans
