Job Summary

The Central PMO Team manages global, large scale, high impact, cross-unit, cross-function projects. As a member of this team, you will be expected to conceptualize and manage, outline and execute key, complex operations projects in accordance with agreed deliverables, timings and budgets.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create detailed work plans for assigned projects which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete each project.

  • On-time delivery of assigned post-launch maintenance and improvement projects within the Sustaining Engineering remit relating to Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Supply Continuity and Cost

  • Determine the resources (time, money, capital equipment, etc.) required to complete the project and resolve resource conflicts.

  • Review project schedules with Stakeholders (senior management, project team) and revise schedules/plan as required.

  • Develop presentations, reports etc. for project reporting.

  • Set up administrative and system files to ensure documentation and tracking.

  • Understand and ensure that teams comply to ConvaTec’s Quality Systems.

  • Establish communication plans to update stakeholders on the progress of the project.

  • Meet regularly with the project team to ensure that project standards are met.

  • Develop proficiently with company project management tools to manage, track and report on project progress

  • Deliver regular updates or reports on projects

  • Deliver or support training sessions in line with PMO strategy

  • Contribute to the development of the PMO unit and Project Management community across Operations

  • Support and represent the PMO Unit as needed with transformation or change elements as dictated by company strategy, vision and values

Location and Travel

  • Hybrid working from home model, site based visits will be required based on critical business needs.

Education/Experience/Qualifications Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science and/or Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Experience of project management within a regulated industry is desirable (Medical device, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Nuclear, automotive etc.) or equivalent regulated industry in an Engineering-biased role.

  • Project management certification is desirable but not essential.
