Responsible for delivering on daily communications activities for Pharmacy and Retail Operations, including internal publications, reporting, creating, writing, editing and proofreading. Responsible for translating tactical communications into Spanish language suitable for Puerto Rico store teams. Serves as
a Pharmacy and Retail Operations communications partner for business teams and major project teams. Provides expertise in field leader and store leader communications to support the company’s business strategies, initiatives and programs. Leverages functional knowledge and expertise to proactively identify
opportunities for continuous improvement. Delivers on communication strategies to provide increased efficiency and effectiveness for the organization.
Supports the overall communications strategy by delivering on daily communications activities,ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of messaging, providing feedback and support for continuousimprovement.
Responsible for delivering accurate translation of store communications from standard English toSpanish language suitable for Puerto Rico store team members, delivered via COMPASS or Retail HubMail email.
Advises and supports major project teams with communications or materials delivered in Spanish,including messages, Job Aids, training materials and playbooks.
Develops, manages and delivers communication plans for select projects and initiatives. Serves as atrusted communications partners, subject matter expert and consultant for business partners andbusiness units.
Maximized the use of Compass Task and Communication application or similar tactical communicationstool and processes.
Proactively establishes and maintains partnerships with corporate communications team and keybusiness stakeholders. Ensures consistent deliver of all communications operations and activities.
Leverages communications skills and expertise to advise leaders, business partners and fellowcommunications team members on the best use of communications tools across written, oral andvisual channels.
Leverages functional expertise to create, edit and advise business partners with field communicationassets across MS Office Applications.
Serves as a communications team liaison to field operations in Puerto Rico and stays connected throughfield visits or other touchpoints.

External Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications OR a high school diploma/GED and at least 3 years of experience in communications activities, such as editorial, writing, publications and participating in or managing online communities at a company/professional services firm.
Experience writing short, action based communications and lengthy, strategic documents and presentations.
Fluent in Spanish language, including speaking, writing and translating communications suitable for pharmacy and retail operations.
Ability to provide 1 or 2 writing samples, including an essay or story in both English and Spanish versions.
Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
Experience communicating to various audiences (company management, team members, work team) with a focus on internal, electronic, and print communications.
Knowledge of communications best practices, such as design, development, and management of user generated content (e.g., blogs and social networking sites)
Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism or English with at least two years of experience in editorial, writing, publications, and participating in or managing online communities.
Experience working with online platforms and functionality that may include blogs, intranet forums and multi media channels.
Experience in communication plan development and project management
Experience in retail, digital, technology or CPG communications
Experience in consumer business communications
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., using SUM function, vlookups, pivot tables, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling)
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font)
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns.
