Job Title: CNC Mill Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a CNC Operator for a 6-month temp-to-perm position. You will set up and operate a CNC mill machine. Responsibilities include programming and fabricating parts to specification from engineering drawings using lathe, HAAS Bar Feeder, HAAS Vertical Mill, SCMI Horizontal Router, and Filament Winder. You will meet production goals, perform inline inspections, manufacture fixtures and tooling as required, and run secondary operations such as deburring parts, cutting raw materials, and providing general machine shop assistance. Additionally, you will aid in general shop maintenance, including preventive maintenance on equipment and cleaning the departmental area. You will work with materials like plastics, Teflon, nylon, some aluminum, and fiberglass, ensuring precision to 2 thousandths for quality control. You will also set up smaller runs of 10-20 pieces, assist with tool changing, drilling holes, and perform some inspection work.
