PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• -- Our ideal candidate would be a strong team player that is looking for a full-scope, varied practice in a rural setting

• -- Enjoy the opportunity to practice in both an outpatient clinic setting and as a hospitalist

• -- Hospitalist Coverage = 3-4 day stretch, every 6 weeks

• -- Call = Hospitalist Call: Approximately, 1 week, every 6 weeks. Hospitalists serve as backup 7AM-7PM, then ER docs.

• -- Strong, interdependent team environment. We work in close collaboration with our existing Grand Rapids team (20 minutes away).

• -- Physician-led organization

• -- Clinic is adjoining Essentia Health – Deer River; a modern, 15 bed, Critical Access Hospital, with 24/7 ER physician coverage and Nurse Triage

• --Clinic of 14 providers including family medicine physicians and nurse practitioners partnering to deliver team-based care

• -- Optional Opportunities: eldercare, colposcopies, endoscopies, stress tests, ER work, and EGD’s

• -- EPIC electronic medical record

• -- Flexible, 0.6 – 1.0 FTE

• -- Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine

• -- Approx. 15 miles from Grand Rapids, MN and 1-½ hours from Duluth, MN.

• -- Service area: 45,000
