Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Controls Engineer to join one of largest automotive clients out of Dearborn, Michigan in a hybrid role 3 days a week onsite. This person will join a team supporting fully networked vehicles responsbile for various system interface functions and ECUs in the BLE (Bluetooth low energy) subsystem within onboard and off board systems. This person will support many features but will mainly be focused around the UWB keyfob portion. This role does not require writing code, but this person will participate in code reviews, so previous experience is preferred. This role may also require travel, but it will less than 10% in a year. Other responsibilities include:

• Reviewing specficiations and ensuring they dont cause conflict with other features

• Review code with supplier as needed to confirm correct implementation and that they adhere to requirements

• Confirmation of delivery of specific stories and task related to feature assigned

$30/hr to 45/hr : Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

• 4+ years of system / ECU development experience in design and release

• Experience with any consumer electronics

• Previous experinece writing code or experience with architecture design

• Understanding of agile principles

• Experience within any of the following: CAN tools, vehicle diagnostics, EOL testing, Danlaw testing, etc.

• Understanding of hardware, software, and system interfaces

• Comfortable working cross functionally - Bachelors Degree

• Automotive experience within Bluetooth, Ultrawide band, Wi-Fi, or cellular

• Teamcenter VSM, JIRA, and Github experience null
