Summary The Product Data Analyst oversees and ensures timely and accurate creation of product data within Carhartt systems (PLM, SAP, PIM) inclusive of pricing data.  PLM system involves product setup and the maintenance of product data in partnership with Merchandising.  Additional setup is required within SAP in terms of size grids and detailed pricing data inclusive of list, MSRP, discounts, promotions, US, and Canadian dollars across all business units and DCs.  

This role audits and ensures accuracy of product data across PLM and SAP and the generation of the UPC list that is provided to Sales.  The analyst partners with Merch and IT to develop a comprehensive approach to data governance and audit to ensure data integrity with supporting audit reports that illustrate data accuracy.

The Analyst uses strong deductive and critical skills to identify root causes for pricing errors and work closely with internal stakeholders, especially IT, to resolve and develop refinements in process to eliminate errors in the process.

Responsibilities Partner with Merchandising to efficiently and timely create new product materials and maintain existing product materials across all active seasons in PLM according to GTM timelines. Partner with Product, Planning and Sales to understand seasonal, promotional, and other negotiated pricing arrangements. Creates and maintains Effective Date Pricing (EDP) master data files in SAP related to all Seasonal Price Lists, Discount Promotions, Terms Promotions, Product Promotions, and Dating Programs according to GTM timelines.   Management of product drops within the PLM/SAP systems according to GTM Timelines. Audit and ensure accuracy of product and pricing data within the UPC list according to GTM timelines. Generation of Sales price lists in accordance with GTM timeline. Partner with IT to develop tools and reporting to support audits of data integrity of product and pricing data. Partner with Merchandising and IT to Identifies opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to meet business needs, gain operating efficiencies, and accuracy.  Works with business and IT to deliver changes. Documents and maintains product and pricing related processes and policies.

Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required in Business or Related Field Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Required Skills and Experience Experience with data management (product and pricing master data preferred). SAP experience preferred.  PLM experience preferred. Well-developed use and understanding of Excel (formulas and functions).  Demonstrates excellent attention to details and accuracy to ensure data integrity.  Compliance oriented, experienced with research, analytics, and critical thinking skills.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including
