Summary

The Department of Accounting and Finance in the College of Business at the University of Michigan-Dearborn has two openings for a Lecturer I to teach the following courses in the Fall 2024 semester: Federal Income Tax (ACC360) and Advanced Federal Income Tax (ACC660). ACC360 is a course primarily for undergraduate business students. ACC660 is a course focusing on federal tax law for corporations and similar organizations primarily aimed at graduate accounting students. ACC360 is scheduled for Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 2:00-3:15PM and ACC660 is scheduled for Monday evenings from 6:00-8:45PM.

Similar courses will be offered in the Winter 2025 (January-April) semester. The College welcomes applicants interested in just the Fall semester or in the full academic year, and those interested in just one of the courses or in both.

Required Qualifications*

Prospective candidates should minimally possess a graduate degree in a relevant discipline.Relevant work and teaching experience is desirable.Strong communication skills are needed.
