Full Stack Software Engineer -- Teradata/ETL/DataStage positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI).  Develop and maintain ETL jobs and workflows to extract, transform and load data from various sources into Teradata data warehouse. Customize views and macros using Teradata tools. Develop Unix Shell scripts and complex SQL queries. Deploy ETL Jobs (Parallel Jobs, Sequencers) using DataStage. Participate in database design and development projects, including data modeling, ETL processes and SQL programming. Collaborate with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders to design and develop efficient data models and schemas in Teradata. Perform system and data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and identify and implement solutions to ensure the data integrity and quality of the data, processing, and analytics. Provide technical guidance in the design, development, and implementation of Teradata data warehousing solutions using IBM Infosphere DataStage ETL tool. Monitor and analyze system performance metrics and logs to identify potential issues before they become critical. Develop and maintain documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, and data dictionaries. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards. Update and sync up the table DDL's in power designer.
