BTP Senior Sales Specialist

About the role:

As a Business Technology Platform (BTP) Sales Specialist, you will focuson complex sales engagements in an Industry aligned (Public Sector) business segment. You will specialise in target industries and solutions, working with SAPs Industry and Line of Business Account Executives. You will programmatically and purposefully build pipeline and maximise revenue. You will also engage with SAPs partner ecosystem and Customer Success organisations to ensure Customer adoption and expansion.

Keys to your success as a BTP Sales Specialist:

  • Partnership with Industry and Line of Business Account Executives to identify opportunities and grow the territory.

  • Participates in customer presentations and meetings to ensure closure of business opportunities

  • Creating, executing, monitoring, and reviewing business development activities.

  • Driving core strategies and actions to ensure KPI achievement.

  • Ensuring high conversion rate from pipeline to deal closure, shortening the sales process, and improving win rate.

  • Internally recognised on complex technical and business matters.

  • Works on large, complex activities, using demonstrated creativity and expertise and applying specialist professional knowledge to deliver high quality results / technical solutions


  • Bachelors or Masters degree with extensive experience in Solutions Sales and experience for cloud native solutions

  • Strong technical and/or business skills and specialist knowledge in SAP Business Technology Platform and industries

  • Knowledge of the principles of solution & cloud selling

  • Highly tuned Customer focus and the acumen to cultivate and develop lasting customer relations

  • Leverages a digital presence (e.g.LinkedIn, Twitter )/framework to broaden market exposure

  • Fluency in English & local business language
