Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Forming Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in De Soto, KS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining production machinery and mechanical equipment, including conveyor systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing equipment in line with operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, such as production machines and conveyor systems, following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.

• Conduct visual inspections and listen to equipment to identify causes of malfunctions.

• Dismantle machines and equipment using hand and power tools to access problem areas.

• Inspect and measure parts for wear, misalignment, or other issues, making necessary adjustments.

• Replace worn and defective parts in drive mechanisms or hydraulic systems using hand and power tools, referencing blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

• Work a 12-hour shift schedule and be available for overtime as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
