National Dentex Dental Lab Technician II - (Denture Finisher) in De Pere, Wisconsin

Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Lord's in De Pere, WI for a Full-Time, Skilled Dental Laboratory Technician with an emphasis in Denture Finishing.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.
Salary will be based on experience.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
Finish dentures based on priority.
Break processed removable restorations out of flasks and match back to the correct case pan.
Remove excess acrylic flash using burs and or cutting wheels.
Remove excess acrylic from metal areas of partial dentures and from teeth.
Add final anatomy to present an aesthetic appearance and good function.
Seat back to models to check for correct fit, adjust if necessary. If need to have partial clasps adjusted for correct fit, take to the appropriate person.
Repair any areas of the acrylic that have holes, porosity, or scarring using cold cure acrylic technique.
Final polish using pumice and high shine materials.
Bring cleaned and polished dentures to QC area.
Bag dentures and put number of case on the bag before replacing in the correct pan if not completely finished.
Maintain a clean work area.
All other duties as assigned.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
Detail oriented
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
No experience required
Good working knowledge of all functions and products within the department preferred.
A Certified Dental Technician (CDT) certification is preferred.
