Job Number: R0210866 Systems Administrator The Opportunity: Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We're looking for a system administrator with a background in classified environments to help us develop and administer cloud access points for specialized AF networks. As a system administrator on our team, you'll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available, provide updates and patches to mission critical systems, and ensure delivery through a first of its kind network. You'll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning. You Have: 2+ years of experience with supporting server administration Experience providing customer support to end users, including in person, through email, or over the phone Knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems Ability to administer application, user, and systems accounts Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues, including software applications TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification Nice If You Have: Experience with applying DoD STIGs Experience in configuring and troubleshooting encryption devices Experience working in SAPF and SCIF environments Knowledge of network monitoring tools, including SolarWinds or Splunk Ability to create and manage network support documentation Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber, or Information Systems CCNA or CCNP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD).
