1 Category Supply Chain Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Consultant at our headquarters office in Dayton, OH. Successful LMI Supply Chain Consultant demonstrate competency in the successful candidate will focus on the Readiness Spares Program and utilize systems such as REALM and WSMIS to provide comprehensive supply analysis and reporting. This role is critical in supporting program management and ensuring the readiness and efficiency of the supply chain for our defense client. Responsibilities Support projects analyzing existing system-support supply chains (including, inventory management, maintenance, and distribution) in government organizations such as the Department of Defense (DoD). Provide consulting services on DoD logistics strategy and supply chain materiel management policy and guidance related to both weapon system lifecycle product support and all classes of supply, with particular focus on wholesale and retail level inventory management processes, policies, performance measurement and analysis. Support and lead projects analyzing and making improvement recommendations on existing system-support supply chains at both the wholesale and retail levels in government organizations such as the DoD. Deliver WSMIS REALM & SAM data systems support. Provide technical and user support for the data systems involved in the RSP process. Identify problems and track resolution progress. Assist RSP Functional Manager with identifying, describing, and testing Problem Reports, Action Items and System Design Requirements. Conduct ad hoc analysis using the RSP data systems extracts and software to perform analysis in support of the request of the RSP Functional Manager Provide support to government organizations such as the DoD for inventory management, provisioning, distribution, and packaging principles, concepts, policies and processes to ensure enterprise wide efficient, cost-effective end-to-end logistics performance. Support government organizations such as the DoD to progress in establishing weapon system life cycle management sustainment activities, including statutory requirements, to establish a single supply catalogue and a standardization program to eliminate overlapping and duplicate specifications and reduce the number of National Stock Numbers that are generally similar. Support government organizations such as the DoD to progress in correcting audit findings and material weaknesses in Inventory, Operating Material & Supplies, and Requisitioning.; Support government organizations such as the DoD for inventory and distribution business ideas, innovative solutions, and alternatives that will improve business practices and decision making.
