Woolpert is hiring a Contract Specialist to join our dynamic Legal team in a remote capacity (US only). This position reports to the Director of In-House Counsel and is responsible for reviewing, understanding, and supporting (a) Requests for Proposals (RFPs), (b) contracting for Woolpert as both Prime and Sub, (c) contracting with Woolpert subcontractors, and (d) Teaming Agreements/NDAs, (e) Any other legal administrative tasks as needed. Assist with contract review/modification as needed in all Sectors. The Contract Specialist will work closely with In-House Counsel (Legal Leaders) and Practice Leaders/Program Directors/Project Managers in a supportive role. Responsibilities As a Contract Specialist at Woolpert, you will: Collaborate and integrate with programs team in support of ongoing contracting efforts and contract modifications. Assist in optimizing acquired company templates including MSA, PSA, PSS, TO, and routing form. Maintain and update Contract Workflow as needed. Route and track scope of work and fees, ensuring the appropriate parties review the documents before a contract is created. Draft, edit and modify prime and subcontracting vehicles. Serve as contracting interface with customers, working at Legal's direction. Ensure timely negotiation, agreement, execution and record management of contracting vehicles in support of prime contract performance. Review, negotiate, and draft a variety of agreements in support of Legal. Liaise and negotiate with customer and vendor contracting professionals. Perform responsibilities both independently and in collaboration with the Legal, other members of the legal and Design services, and internal stakeholders. Work closely with Accounting team to ensure contracts are in the ERP system and reported as sales for the month. Monitor and ensure contracts are fully executed and follow up accordingly. Maintain tracking spreadsheet showing appropriate licensing for all contracts. Review ancillary agreements such as NDAs, teaming agreements, etc. and provide final recommendations for the Legal team. Qualifications BA/BS and 5+ years of related professional experience. Ability to use independent judgment to fulfill job responsibilities; a self-starter who requires little supervision. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (primarily Word) and Signature Software (i.e. DocuSign, Adobe Sign). Experience with IntelAgree or other contract management software. Strong attention to detail. Exceptional business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions. Proven excellent strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action. Ability to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and meet team deadlines in a fast-paced environment; exceptional organizational and prioritization skills are key. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate and manipulate standard office equipment. Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, climb and/or balance. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
