Radiance Technologies, Inc. Foreign Threat Electronic Warfare Model Developer in DAYTON, Ohio
Radiance is seeking a highly qualified and motivated software engineer or computer scientist to serve as an Electronic Warfare (EW) model developer creating new or enhancing existing models and analysis tools. The candidate will work on an analysis team and use all-source intelligence data to model EW characteristics (hardware and software) associated with a threat system. The candidate is expected to model the system's associated behaviors, operations, subsystems, and components. For each threat system model, the candidate will document the model's capabilities, limitations, and intelligence gaps.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Experience using C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Simulink, or other programming languages.
Knowledge of Electronic Attack (EA) techniques and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) techniques.
Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate with EW experts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to succinctly describe complex technical scenarios in simple, easily understood terms.
Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
Required Experience:
Three or more years of experience with modeling systems or tools.
Desired Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Foreign weapon system analysis experience.
Experience developing or integrating physics-based models in simulation frameworks
Experience with radar or EW signal generation techniques and performance analysis tools and models (MATLAB or Python).
Understanding of EW impacts on radar hardware and electronic Protection (EP) algorithms.
Experience supporting US Government S&TI Centers, especially the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC)
