OVERVIEW Full-time/Permanent Employee Location: Dayton, OH As a Cloud Architect III, you will leverage your expertise in cloud computing to design, implement, and oversee innovative cloud solutions that align with business objectives. Working under general direction, you will independently develop strategies and technical solutions to complex challenges, contributing to cloud adoption plans, application design, and system management. Your role will involve leading the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based systems. This position offers the opportunity to drive impactful change while providing technical leadership in a rapidly evolving domain. The proposed salary range for this position is $108,500 - $144,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and oversee the organization's cloud computing strategy, including cloud adoption plans, application architecture, and management * Design and implement cloud-based solutions by setting up front-end and back-end platforms and developing operational delivery systems * Establish and maintain cloud storage and computing systems, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards * Lead cloud migration projects and the deployment on IaaS and PaaS * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, IT Architects, and business representatives, to assess and recommend architectural strategies * Conduct detailed discovery analyses and deliver repeatable strategy, architecture, and planning workshops * Optimize cloud performance by monitoring systems, managing updates, and ensuring robust connectivity among remotely located servers * Provide assessments of current-state architecture and propose recommendations for future-state architecture * Lead consultative engagements with domain architects, sales consultants, business analysts, and technical staff to ensure successful project delivery * Utilize a cloud-first mindset to help customers realize the full potential of cloud-based solutions. * Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded * Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area * Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction * Completes personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on) * Within your program, build productive and positive professional relationships with clients * Performs other related duties as assigned KEY QUALIFICATIONS * Clearance: Active TS/SCI * Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 5-7 years of experience in cloud architecture, oApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjM5ODk3LjEwNTA4QGV4cGFuc2lhZ3JvdXBjb21wLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ
