The Compensation Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization's compensation programs. This role involves administering pay structures, conducting job evaluations, and maintaining accurate data to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices. Working closely with the Compensation & Benefits Manager, the specialist provides analytical support, assists in benchmarking processes, and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Opportunities to join various employee committees Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in compensation or a related HR role. Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools. Understanding of compensation principles and job evaluation methods. Familiarity with federal and state pay regulations (e.g., FLSA). Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desired Qualifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or progress toward certification. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, Workday). Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI. Experience supporting compensation programs in a complex manufacturing environment. Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under deadlines. About Solvita We began in Dayton in 1964 as the region's first centralized blood bank.
