Position Overview The Certified Pharmacy Technician must abide by various regulatory compliance rules and must always treat patients with dignity and respect. The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in ordering and maintaining inventory levels, dispensing of pharmaceuticals, providing customer service, and any additional duties as assigned. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, no nights, weekends, or holidays. General Responsibilities • Assists pharmacist in ordering and maintaining inventory levels, including stocking items and daily order check-ins • Prepares prescription orders while maintaining accuracy and safety in all workflow stages • Accurately inputs patient and prescription information into dispensing software • Adjudicates prescriptions and resolves transmission and third-party billing errors • Addresses patient questions and concerns, escalates issues to pharmacist appropriately Qualifications • High School diploma or equivalent required • Current Ohio Board of Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) in Good Standing • 3+ years of clinic or independent pharmacy experience preferred • Experience with the Functions of a 340B Pharmacy Preferred • Experience with Medication Therapy Management (MTM), prior authorizations, 340B, and EPIC preferred Benefits Five Rivers Health Center offers a complete benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, paid holidays, paid vacation & sick days, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, wellness incentives, department incentives, and 401(k)
