CBC/CTS is looking for a Central Sterile Supply Supervisor on 2nd shift to assist and support the Central Supply Manager with planning and leading Central Supply to ensure efficient operations.As the CSS Supervisor you would also lead the activities of employees engaged in furnishing sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment for processing of human tissue. Essential Functions Assists the Manager in the selection, training, orientation, evaluation, and competency of employees. Coordinates the training and documentation for all new and existing Central Supply employees. Ensures that personnel adhere to all safety guidelines, training and policies. Provides direction to Senior Technicians, Team Leaders and Technicians. Performs and assists in coaching staff as related to performance. Ensures proper record documentation. Communicates training issues to applicable personnel to provide continuity and consistency of training and optimal learning. Provides management oversight for the preparation of solutions, arrangement of stock, requisitioning, issuing, controlling, and charging of supplies and equipment. Manages productivity and activities of employees engaged in sterilizing, assembling, and packing of processing supplies. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous Supply Chain, Central Supply, Hospital OR and/or Continuous Improvement experience. Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation. Requires heavy lifting, moderate levels of standing and is physically demanding. Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields. Requires good eye-hand coordination skills. Desired Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree Previous supervisory experience in an Operating Room (OR), Central Sterile Supply or Supply Chain. Coaching and mentoring skills to help others develop to their fullest potential. Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead terms, set goals, problem solve and resolve conflicts. Demonstrated technical computer skills and ability to utilize all components of Microsoft Office.
